07 Buck.....6 more weeks
« on: August 28, 2008, 04:45:42 AM »
Was just looking at pics from last season hopeing it would make the 6 weeks go quicker  :bash:

Deer was shoot in Waitsburg....near Walla Walla...on my familys ranch. You dont get the MONSTER bucks but there are plenty that put this little guy to shame.

Didnt have my camera on me during the hunt  >:(, left it at the ranch. Pics are after hanging in the barn to skin, cool then loaded in the truck to move to garage to butcher.

maybe not a monster but still a nice buck! can't wait! I went out this morning since I'm helping a farmer chase elk out of his oat fields and saw many whitetail bucks and about fifty does. my wife and I were looking at better cameras for all these encounters I have with wildlife, a 5x5 whitey in the fog would make a cool picture if I had a good enough camera to zoom in a little.

Maybe not a monster but definitely a shooter. They don't get much more symmetrical then that.

Thats not a bad meat buck. I miss that country back there. I used to live in the big city of Waitsburg. I go back every year deer and elk hunting. which direction out of town are you.

I grew up on the west side  :( live in woodinville. My mom's whole side of family lives there.

Towards Walla Walla... H.P Smith Ranch. Grandparents live on Miller Road, Cousin on lower waitsburg road, 2 sets of aunts and uncles downtown Waitsburg. And an aunt and uncle in Dayton(McKinley Ranch)

The Smiths through blood...the McKinley's through marriage.

If you lived in Waitsburg i guarntee you know one if not all my relatives  :)
